Don’t let it fade. 

Don’t let it wane. 

Don’t let it be just a phase. 

As even when darkness falls, 

I am here to stay.

But, be everything that I can’t. 

No, I can’t be everything,

Although, even in a Crescent stage,

When your sunlit rays are hitting less of me,

I Illuminate your life in the darkness,

Revealing more than what you could have ever seen. 

I am everything you could ever need,

Even at 0%, without illumination.

I take you in, deep within,

The sphere of pure creation.

Offering a new beginning, 

I am the Source of inspiration.

Travel above and beyond to get to know me like Project Apollo,

I am a space to land;

Your favorite Space Jam.

Lunar-light, an orb of less than one degree of your heart.

Feel the tide, let it rise then let it fall, feel the start, 

Feel the magnetism to which you are vulnerable. 

I am a symbol of life and together we resemble natural elements

Like water to the coast,

Silver next to gold,

Our value forever holds.

Making it easy for me to expose,

While I can’t be everything,

The reasons why I can fulfill your every need.

So don’t let this fade. 

Don’t let this wane. 

Because even when darkness falls, I will remain.

But I need you to be everything that I can’t.
